Payment Policy

1. Payment Options and Currency Used at Checkout

Orders placed through dalmeki.com can be paid using supported payment methods shown during checkout. These may include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Maestro, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. The options available to an individual customer can vary according to the device, browser, payment account, technical compatibility, or other conditions applicable at the time of checkout.

Unless checkout clearly states otherwise, purchases made through our website are charged in Euro (EUR). When a payment card, bank account, or digital wallet is maintained in another currency, the customer’s financial institution may convert the transaction into that account’s currency. Any exchange rate, foreign transaction charge, conversion fee, or similar amount applied by a bank or payment provider is determined by that provider and is not collected by DALMEKI, LLC.

2. How Payments Are Processed

DALMEKI, LLC uses established third-party payment processors, including Stripe and PayPal, to handle payment authorization and settlement for transactions completed through dalmeki.com. These providers operate their own secure systems for verifying payment credentials, communicating with financial institutions, screening transactions, and completing payment processing.

Payment approval is not controlled solely by DALMEKI, LLC. Depending on the method selected, a transaction may be reviewed by Stripe, PayPal, a card network, digital wallet operator, issuing bank, or another relevant financial service provider before authorization is granted. We do not have the ability to override a bank or payment provider’s independent authorization decision.

3. Protection of Payment Credentials

Complete sensitive payment credentials are not stored on DALMEKI, LLC website servers. In particular, we do not retain full card numbers, CVV or CVC security codes, complete bank account credentials, or full digital wallet credentials. Such information is handled through the secure payment environment of the applicable payment processor.

Our website uses HTTPS and SSL/TLS encryption to help protect information transmitted during checkout. Stripe, PayPal, card networks, and related providers may additionally use tokenization, fraud screening, encrypted communications, secure gateways, risk analysis, and 3D Secure authentication where available or required. These safeguards are designed to reduce exposure of sensitive payment information during transaction processing.

4. Authorization Holds, Declined Payments, and Pending Charges

A purchase is considered successfully paid only after the relevant payment provider has authorized the transaction. Transactions may be declined or remain pending because of insufficient funds, incorrect billing information, expired payment credentials, security checks, transaction limits, address verification failures, suspected fraud, or restrictions imposed by the customer’s bank or payment provider.

Customers who encounter an unsuccessful payment should first confirm that the billing and payment information entered is correct. An alternative payment method may also be used where available. In some cases, a temporary authorization may appear on the account even though checkout was not completed. The timing for releasing such an authorization is determined by the relevant bank, card issuer, PayPal, Stripe, or other financial provider.

5. Transaction Questions, Reviews, and Chargebacks

If a payment appears to have been duplicated, processed incorrectly, or otherwise requires investigation, customers should contact DALMEKI, LLC at [email protected]. Providing the order number, transaction date, payment method, and a short explanation of the concern will help us locate the relevant transaction records and review the matter more efficiently.

Where practical, customers are encouraged to contact us before starting a chargeback or formal payment dispute. If a dispute is opened through Stripe, PayPal, a card issuer, bank, or payment network, we may submit relevant transaction records such as the order confirmation, payment status, shipping information, delivery records, customer communications, return information, and refund records to the party reviewing the dispute.

6. Refund Processing and Original Payment Method

Once a refund has been approved, DALMEKI, LLC will issue it to the original payment method within 7 business days. Refunds are normally routed through the same payment channel used for the original transaction. For example, card transactions are normally refunded to the corresponding card account, while PayPal transactions are returned through PayPal.

The customer’s financial institution may require additional time to display the funds after we have submitted the refund. This posting period is controlled by the bank, card issuer, PayPal, or other payment provider. Rules concerning return eligibility, product condition, return shipping, and approval procedures are set out in our Refund & Returns Policy. Payment or refund questions may be directed to [email protected].
